CadenceViz™
A growing family of audio visualizers for the macOS operating system, all in one app.
CadenceViz is a free download for the Mac computer, and inside it are five volumes of visualizers. Choose a volume in the app's Catalog and every viz in it is yours to try, free, for 14 days. When a volume's 14 days end it locks, and one purchase of $19.99 unlocks that volume forever, with Family Sharing included. Each volume is tried, and bought, on its own.
New volumes arrive as updates to CadenceViz, and each new one brings its own free 14-day trial.
Made by Perry Kivolowitz, co-recipient of an Academy Award® for Scientific and Technical Achievement for the modern method of shape-driven warping and morphing, and winner of an Engineering Emmy® as co-inventor of SilhouetteFX.
Volume 1
CadenceViz
Where it began. 15 dynamic audio visualizers
Volume 1 is where our family of music visualizers began. Try every viz in it free for 14 days. All of our visualizers are audio reactive to whatever sound your Mac computer is playing. Volume 1 spans the generations of music visualizers from traditional stroke and blur to the modern.
Every volume has one "halo effect". In Volume 1 it is Aquarium. Aquarium is real time raytracing of fish that rock to your tunes. An eel almost tracks singing. This viz requires an Apple silicon M3 chip or later because of the real time raytracing.
Volume 2
Good Things
Peaceful places that dance to your music
A glamping night with dancing Highland cows. Sea turtles on a moonlit beach. Hundreds of thousands of starlings over a marsh. An endless field of flowers and butterflies. Good Things are places to leave on your screen, and every one moves to your music.
Volume 3
Particles
Little worlds made of millions of moving things
Snow piling up on a 1950s Brooklyn street. Plates smashed on a Santorini terrace at dusk. A cannon firing billiard balls at cheese? A waterfall, a cave, a knot made of fire. Every particle is thrown, poured or blown by your music.
Volume 4
Scenes
More delightful worlds set to your audio
Sheep and their watchful dogs in walled meadows. It's the 1920s on the prairie. Laundry on a line in the afternoon sun. A dawn sky full of hot-air balloons, glowing with their inner light. A city at nightfall, its windows lit by your music as you float serenely past. An orchestra seen from a box seat. A pot rising on a potter's wheel. The countryside passes outside the window of a grand sleeper car of the early 1900s.
Every viz is a scene... every one powered by modern computing technology.
Volume 5
Journeys
Requires a Mac computer with an M3 chip or later
Let your audio take you places!
Volume 5 takes you inside an exquisitely ray traced Art Deco train station late at night. Music will control a flight of 8 stealth fighters dancing through the sky. Hover over a busy crosswalk in the rain, colored umbrellas counting out the beat. And, as carefully composed as a painting, watch the early morning work at a lonely desert diner.
Journeys requires an Apple silicon M3 chip or newer.
